About Jon Cracraft

I live in Indianapolis and work as an investment advisor and financial planner for C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management.

I try to be a pragmatist, a seeker of justice, an information sponge and someone who examines many sides of many issues.

I grew up near Broad Ripple, went to college in Minnesota, went to grad school in Virginia, dropped out, grew a beard, roamed the country in search of enlightenment, didn't find it, got a math degree from Indiana University, taught math at Harmony School, met my wife, moved back to Indianapolis, entered finance, hated it, left finance, started a business, struggled, got an offer I couldn't refuse (to return to finance), still disliked many thing about it, got married, had a child, met Chris Douglas, joined his firm, loved it, started a blog, wrote this bio.

Now I'm about to drink some serious coffee.
